The IVR application offers a highly appreciated customer self-service that speeds up business contacts, but retains the personal touch. IVR has two main functions: automatic operations of incoming calls via phone and registration of activities for office users. es callers up-to-date availability information and several contact options in case the call cannot be answered.
Aastra CMG Voice Mail
Using Aastra CMG VoiceMail will take the load off attendants and colleagues who do not have to forward messages between each other. The application provides basic but efficient and user-friendly voicemail functionality. Customers calling you when you are unavailable are given a fast and efficient reply and an option to leave a voice message.
Aastra CMG Speech Attendant
The new Aastra CMG Speech Attendant is a voice controlled service whose primary purpose is to complement the attendants with call transfers, number information for extensions and mobile phone numbers in the company’s directory. It gives the caller activity presentation and extended contact options when the caller is not available thus reducing unnecessary transfers. Speech Attendant never takes a break and is always available to answer calls, 24 hours a day.
Aastra CMG InConference
Booking and joining a conference with Aastra InConference is easy. The application turns the business user extension into a phone conference bridge. You simply book a new conference from the calendar or any other CMG application by using a new activity code named “conference” in the same way as other activities e.g. meetings are booked in Aastra CMG.
When joining a conference, callers only have to bother about one phone number – the organizer’s direct number. If you call a person that is already InConference, CMG IVR offers you to join in, in addition to the regular contact options.
Aastra InConference is fully integrated in the CMG suite and from the business users point of view, a conference call is just another CMG activity.
